The University of Hertfordshire and Hertfordshire Public Health run a series of free public health masterclass events each year for professionals with an interest in a broad range of Public Health disciplines and activities. The masterclasses are suitable for any professional working in Hertfordshire with an interest in health. The aim of these events is to bring relevant, contemporary and beneficial insights and practice to all who have an interest in health in the County.

Healthy Ageing
Zoom event Wednesday 17th May 2023 10am – 12pm
During this master class, we will share our experiences of research involving ageing, physical activity and sporting reminiscence with a specific focus on dementia. We will also share practical examples from those providing services in the community and think about:

An overview of the challenges and barriers faced by the Gypsy Roma Traveller (GRT) communities in Hertfordshire and the UK
